A week after their historic win at the PalaCarrara against Armani Milano, Pistoia travelled to Torino knowing that to increase their playoff chances they had to win on the road. And after a sloppy first half which saw them go into the locker room down by 11 (43-32), the white-and-red picked up their game in the second half and won what turned out to be a thriller in overtime 95-91.
The Flexx's great team effort was led by point guard Ronald Moore who had a double-double (22 pts. and 10 boards) but what is also worth mentioning is the resilience that Pistoia showed throughout the game.
The white-and-red are now in 8th place in the Italian Serie A and play three of their last five games at the PalaCarrara (10 wins and only two losses this year) including this Sunday evening's game against surprising Capo d'Orlando with tip-off scheduled at 8.45.
