Playing in front of a sold out PalaCarrara, Pistoia took the lead at the end of the first quarter and never looked back as they defeated Milano for the first time in history in the regular season 85-74. The win all but guarantees the white-and-red another season in the Italian Serie A and gives them the chance to make the playoffs once again.
The Flexx were led by an inspired Michele Antonutti who had 15 points and seems to have finally gotten over the injuries that have hampered him all season and big man Andrea Crosariol who had 15 points 7 boards and 4 assists, including two no-lookers which got the Pistoia fans out of their seats.
Pistoia are two points behind Brindisi and Torino for the 8th and final spot in the playoff grid and have a chance to make up ground this Sunday as they travel to Torino in a game scheduled to tip-off at 7.30 p.m.
